Number of Transaction-Based Reports Doubles to Nearly 170 and Ad Hoc Reporting Capability Added
Raleigh, NC—August 1, 2007 — Intervolve, Inc., the pioneer in providing on demand supply chain
software using web and mobile technologies, today announced major reporting enhancements to its
Route Accounting System (RAS) warehouse and delivery software for beverage wholesalers. The
number of RAS reports has more than doubled to nearly 170, providing wholesaler employees with the
ability to view just the information and analyses they need without assistance from Intervolve or their IT
personnel. The standard reports include many setup and viewing options, thereby providing an even
larger number of reporting options. Additionally, specialized ad hoc reports can be created for additional
real-time analyses.
Chris Newton, Intervolve Chairman and EVP, said, “One of the greatest values of our RAS software is
providing wholesaler employees across the organization with real-time, transaction-based views of the
business. By providing nearly 170 standard reports and an additional ad-hoc reporting capability, we help
wholesalers simplify and speed up decision-making. With the additional reporting and RAS’s transactionbased
inventory management, wholesalers can, with a click of a mouse, follow each and every case of
beer from receipt to warehouse to truck to retailer.”
Intervolve’s RAS warehouse and delivery software integrates sales order management, inventory
management, financial accounting, reconciliations, and route maintenance into a seamless, end-to-end
mobile environment for warehouse operations and delivery. RAS expands beyond traditional route
accounting to provide wholesalers with real-time inventory management between suppliers, warehouses,
trucks, salespeople, and accounts. The RAS Report Viewer reporting application displays pertinent realtime
information in easy-to-understand reports.
One new report is the Executive Dashboard which shows, in a single multi-graph view, key month-to-date
(MTD) performance indicators: a bar graph for MTD sales and profit performance across suppliers; a
MTD summary of sales, discounts, and profits; a MTD summary of inventory activity with a Days On Hand
gauge; and an A/R Aging pie chart.
Additionally, the new Inventory Transaction Summary report leverages the real-time inventory transaction
capabilities of RAS by dynamically grouping and summarizing transaction data. For example, grouping
multiple transaction types together makes it possible to see the net depletions for the month by supplier
by product. And with raw steel prices at an all time high, the Cooperage Audit Report tracks the flow of
cooperage by retail account to help protect wholesalers’ investments.
Rick Craig, VP of Operations for R.H. Barringer Distributing Company, commented, “Since we
implemented Intervolve’s total solution for warehouse, delivery and retail execution, our warehouse
paperwork and processing time has decreased by about 85%. We have a real-time view into our
business across many measures and rely on the robust RAS reporting system to help us remain nimble.
We applaud Intervolve’s continued investment in its real-time transaction-based system and its reporting
capabilities.”
