New Software Enables Distributors to Significantly Streamline Warehouse and Delivery Operations
Raleigh, NC—November 2, 2006—Intervolve® , Inc., the pioneer in providing on demand supply

warehouse optimization solutions for beverage distributors. Enhancements to Intervolve’s Route
Accounting System provide first-in-the-industry fully integrated inventory picking, allocation, pallet
optimization, and loading capabilities. The new software enables distributors to significantly
streamline warehouse and delivery processes, tailor picking processes to retailer and routing needs,
and realize substantial cost savings.

Route Accounting System now includes several fully integrated warehouse friendly picking
capabilities not available in any other competitive software offering. Drag-and-Drop Picking provides
the ability to dynamically customize picking according to load and route needs by quickly reassigning
an order from one route to another with a click of the mouse. The new Out-of-Stock Allocation feature
provides the ability to rebalance deliveries during the picking process according to the best use of
scarce inventory.

SmartLoader takes picking to the next level by allowing picks to be generated by pallet layout. It
