Former Manugistics co-founder brings
over 25 years of experience in software and supply chain management
Raleigh, NC (February 19, 2008) — Intervolve, Inc., the pioneer in providing on demand supply chain software using web and mobile technologies, today announced that Bill Kaluza has joined Intervolve as CEO. Bill has more than 25 years of experience leading technology organizations with a proven track record of building highly successful software companies in the supply chain management industry.
Previously, Bill co-founded Manugistics Group, Inc., a supply chain management software company based in Rockville, Maryland. Bill served as Senior V.P. of Operations where he managed sales, marketing, development, manufacturing and support for the Personal Systems Business Unit. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for raising private equity to fund operations and acquisitions. He also coordinated all aspects of the company’s Initial Public Offering.
“I am excited to be working with the pioneers in bringing both mobile technology and Software as a Service (SaaS) to the beverage industry,” said Bill. “Intervolve’s Route Accounting System and DistributionSuite software solutions drive both top line revenue and bottom line results.”
Bill earned a degree in Economics with concentrations in Accounting, Finance and Computer Information Systems from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned a J.D. degree with a concentration in Corporate Law from the Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University.
