Regional Sales Director
Intervolve’s Regional Sales Directors are responsible for the promotion and sales of Intervolve, Inc. products and services in the Continental United States. Our RAS and DistributionSuite applications are designed primarily for wholesale beer distributors and include mobile applications for order entry and invoicing, inventory control, cash control, route settlement and non-transactional information. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with demonstrable skills in business applications, a solid foundation in information technology, and the ability to take leadership responsibilities on client engagements.

Specific Duties:
• Participate in the development and implementation of sales/retention strategies and plans that further the company’s long-range goals.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of product and services and participate in the development of plans for new products, new product ideas and new services.
• Aggressively solicit new business from current and prospective customers to maintain and increase customer base.
• Process and respond to all qualified bids for new business.
• Participate in new market analysis and development of new market entry plans. Penetrate new and existing market areas to maintain and increase sales.
• Provide price quotes and credit terms to potential customers and prepare sales contracts.
• Maintain awareness of the activities of related software competitors.
• Develop and maintain a target account list for national business prospects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in preparation and organization of sales presentations by effectively displaying and demonstrating products and services and emphasizing marketable features.
• Travel to prospect and customer facilities as required.
• Participate in the development of accurate monthly and annual sales projections.
• Develop and manage a sales team and delegate responsibilities accordingly.

Requisite Education/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or related field required.
• Experience in building a sales team.
• Prior experience selling software products and service
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environment.
• Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
• Self and team motivator.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, GoldMine and familiarity with the Internet.
