David Rizzo

Intervolve Director, Chairman of the Board, President of NC IDEA

David Rizzo is President & CEO of NC IDEA. David joined MCNC in 2002 and led the company through a restructuring that resulted in the spin-off of MCNC Research & Development Institute (now NC IDEA). Prior to joining MCNC, David was the Chairman and CEO of Osprey Systems, a venture-backed software services company he founded in Charlotte in 1992 and sold in 2002. David spent the first 13 years of his career with IBM in various leadership positions, ultimately serving as the Trading Area General Manager for the $800M business operations of North and South Carolina.

Bruce Boehm

Intervolve Director

Bruce Boehm is an independent venture capitalist, an advisor to several specialty venture capital funds, and an adjunct lecturer at the Kenan Flagler School of Business at UNC, Chapel Hill. From 1992 to 1996 he created and directed the Masters of Engineering Management Program at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Prior to 1992 he was a General Partner of U. S. Venture Partners in Menlo Park, California, with responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 20 health-care and technology investments. Prior to 1982 he was employed by a number of Silicon Valley and Route 128 companies as an engineer and project manager. Bruce received a BS from MIT, and an MS and MBA from Stanford University. During his career he has been a director of more than 25 publicly and privately held companies.
 
Lisa D'Urso

Intervolve Director

Ms. Lisa D'Urso brings a broad range of business experience to Intervolve. Ms. D'Urso was a senior executive for a New York supermarket operation. She co-led in devising the structure and negotiation of the company's sale as well as manage a real estate portfolio. Subsequently, Ms. D'Urso became a business and investment manager for a private concern where she has analyzed and invested in a wide range of private and publicly traded companies. She currently serves on Board of Directors for various privately held companies and charitable concerns. Ms. D'Urso received her BA in political science from Georgetown University and earned her MBA in finance and economics from New York University's Stern School of Business.
 
Robert A. Rechholtz

Intervolve Director, President of Idea House

Mr. Rechholtz is president of Idea House in Chapel Hill, NC. He provides a broad range of consulting services to both the private and public sectors. He retired from the Coors Brewing Company where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and International. He has an extensive background in sales and marketing and corporate development with several leading companies, including Procter & Gamble, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco, E&J Gallo Winery, Liggett Group and Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company. He is a director of Glen Raven, Inc. During his career Mr. Rechholtz has been active in many professional and civic organizations. He has served on the boards of the ANA, Ad Council, AAF and Tobacco Institute. He has also taught as an adjunct professor of marketing at Kenan-Flagler Business School and has lectured widely at major universities and business organizations. He has been published in numerous trade and professional journals and has coauthored several books on marketing. Mr. Rechholtz graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BS degree in Business from the University of North Carolina. He served two tours of active duty in the U. S. Army. He and his wife, Caroline, have three daughters and live in Chapel Hill.

William I. Campbell

Intervolve Director, Senior Advisor, J.P. Morgan Chase

William Campbell is currently a Senior Advisor for JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he was previously Chairman of Chase Card Services, the nation's second largest credit card organization. Chase has 87 million credit cards issued with annual sales volume of $269 billion and over $125 billion in loans. Prior to that, Mr. Campbell was Chairman of Card Services at Bank One, which was merged into JPMorgan Chase & Co. in July of 2004. With an extensive consumer products and financial services management background, Mr. Campbell also serves as President of Sanoch Management, a consulting and investment firm for financial companies, start-ups, and venture capital firms. Before forming Sanoch Management and joining Bank One, Mr. Campbell oversaw Citigroup's Global Consumer Business, including global branch banking and credit cards. He became Chief Executive Officer of Global Citibank in 1996 and Chief Executive Officer of Global Consumer Business a year later. Prior to joining Citicorp in 1995, Mr. Campbell spent 28 years at Philip Morris, including five years as Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris USA. Mr. Campbell is also on the board of various non for profit organizations; Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation and The Woodrow Wilson Institute.
